Dear Dr. Flax,

I want to thank you and your staff for my beautiful smile and for the excellent care you continue to give me. I hope, though, that by now you all know how highly I think of you and your practice. I also want to endorse and recommend you to anyone reading your “wall of fame” and considering you as their dentist.

You are simply, a wonderful dentist and an outstanding cosmetic aesthetician. Although I have seen a dentist twice a year all my life, my teeth were not in good shape. Old silver fillings were beginning to crack and needed replacement. They had begun to bleed into my gums, discoloring my mouth. Years of clinching and grinding had left me with an uneven bite and were destroying the teeth I had left. And finally, I had some crooked and crowded teeth that could have used a few years of orthodontia.

All this sounds bad, but to the average observer, my smile was horrible. But it was something that had bothered me for a long time. As I broke old fillings and my regular dentist of 20 plus years insisted on gold crowns, I decided to look around for a dentist who could satisfy my aesthetic as well as functional needs. I had one crown (the one that looked like a chicklet) put in by a dentist who taught cosmetic dentistry at an accredited state dental school and another that looked so fake I hated to smile naturally.

After I moved to Atlanta, I continued my search for a dentist who could do the quality of work I wanted. I started actually interviewing dentists. I know I wanted a well-trained dentist, one accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). That very short list is what led me to you.

I have completed a total mouth “makeover” and the results are spectacular! My teeth are beautiful and I am proud of my smile. I am constantly complimented on my smile and teeth. They look so natural that no one seems to suspect crowns or veneers – they ask about how I whiten my teeth! This was one expenditure, one investment in myself that was so well worth the research, the consideration, the time and the money.

The professionalism, kindness, and accommodations made by all in your office can only be described as exceptional. You really are running a first class practice and many little things that make that evident (continuing education, the latest in equipment, the warm neck pillows!). Everyone made themselves available to answer my questions and concerns until I was satisfied. Dr. Flax, be assured that your training, talent and dedication to details are well appreciated. Thank you for considering my personal situations while undergoing my treatment. Thank you for the phone calls to make sure I was comfortable and doing well. I actually experienced little, if any physical discomfort. My issues were more about ensuring that my teeth looked natural and pretty and would last. It was a big investment for me, but I am so happy with my results that I have now persuaded my husband to become one of your patients. We can hold off another year on that new car! Our teeth, our health and even our looks and freedom for worry (over the next dental catastrophe) are more important.
