January 4, 2008 (Atlanta, GA) - While most of us were preparing for the upcoming holidays this past November, one member of the Atlanta community was in London, England learning/teaching about Lasers in Cosmetic Dentistry - Dr. Hugh Flax. While we were planning our holiday feasts, Dr. Flax was planning how to innovate his Atlanta dental practice. Not only then, but every day Dr. Flax is improving his practice to make his patients the happiest and most comfortable dental patients around. He is a pioneer in the cosmetic and laser dentistry fields and has revolutionized the way dentistry can be done today and for the future.

Laser dentistry has been around for a while, but the number of dentists trained in the field are limited. Dr. Flax is changing that. He started Success By Design Seminars to teach other dentists how to us the Biolase/Waterlase dental lasers. His training program has been approved by Biolase and was accredited by The World Clinical Laser Institute (the largest organization of its genre). In addition, Dr. Flax writes articles and lectures nationwide to improve dentistry not just within his own practice, but for others as well.

Not only does he teach, Dr. Flax takes every opportunity to learn more. While in London, he took three additional classes to improve his performance as a cosmetic dentist. Dr. Flax also lectured on laser dentistry, with the host Dr. Arun Dunbar (one of England’s leading dental laser experts) in his audience.
