Resolve to Make Flax Dental a Part of your New Year
- Posted on: Dec 30 2016
2017 is right around the corner, and this may cause many of us to reflect on the past year. At the same time, a new year also tends to coax us into at least a couple of resolutions. If one of yours is to enjoy the greatest possible health and well-being, we invite you to consider taking us along for the ride. The team at Flax Dental is passionate about helping patients feel good about their smiles. We accomplish our goals by helping you accomplish yours through the full spectrum of dental care.
At some point, a large majority of people will experience a slight hiccup in their oral health. This could be the development of gingivitis or a cavity. Ideally, such conditions will be caught when this is all that they are. Did you know that small cavities can often be repaired quickly and with no anesthetic? How much more pleasant is dentistry when conducted in such a manner? Regardless of the extensiveness of oral disease, we work gently and swiftly to restore teeth to their prime condition using lifelike materials. This way, the final result looks like your teeth!
We said that ideally we would like to catch dental problems early. But let’s take that one step further. The ultimate ideal is to prevent conditions like cavities and gum disease altogether. It is with this in mind that we schedule patients for checkups and cleanings on a six-month rotation. Research has shown that this time frame is most appropriate for removing plaque and tartar before bacteria can eat away healthy enamel and gum tissue.
Having a beautiful smile is a wonderful thing. Sadly, it’s not a given. Some people need a little help, and we are happy to provide it. We love seeing the transformation of a patients self-esteem when they feel good about their smile! Cosmetic dentistry is not always complex, nor is it always expensive. There are several ways in which we can brighten dull teeth, cover chips and gaps, and transform the smile.
