Real patients. Real results. Photographed, not rendered.
Every smile below was designed and placed by Dr. Hugh Flax, an AACD Accredited cosmetic dentist — a credential fewer than a few hundred dentists worldwide hold.
Schedule Your ConsultationThe art of cosmetic dentistry is a disappearing craft. Most dentists say they do cosmetic work; very few do the years of preparation it takes to become accredited. The difference does not show up in a brochure — it shows up in photographs like these.
Look at the gum lines. Look at how light moves through the edges of the teeth. Look at whether the smile suits the face it belongs to. That is what the extra time buys.

Why These Results Look Different
Five Weeks in Temporaries
You test drive your new smile for a week — living with the shape, color and fit — and Dr. Flax adjusts until it is right. You then stay in temporaries for four more weeks before anything is final. Most dentists send the case straight to the lab, and the patient never gets to test the teeth at all.
Two Hours to Prepare One Crown
Preparing a tooth for a crown and crafting the temporary takes an hour and a half, often two. The lab then takes about two weeks to build the crown itself. Nothing about it is compressed into one short appointment.
A Full Day, One Patient
Veneer days are scheduled for one patient only. Time is set aside first to get you comfortable with oral conscious sedation, and Dr. Flax then gives the entire day to your smile and your custom temporaries. If both arches are being treated, the plan is coordinated around your bite — sometimes close together, sometimes with the opposing arch following after the first one is delivered.
