Changing Lives Through Dentistry

When people walk into my office, they often think they’re here just to get their teeth fixed. But that’s rarely what it’s really about. A smile makeover can unlock confidence, reshape someone’s life, and help them show up in the world in ways they never thought possible. I’ve seen it again and again in my practice here in Atlanta.

Hazel’s Story

Hazel had a gap in her front teeth—you could “drive a truck through it,” she said. She came in after realizing she didn’t smile in a single photo at her son’s wedding. She was 62 and didn’t want to go through braces or gum surgery. I showed her how we could do it differently—with laser treatment.

She told me, “Doc, if you do a great job, I’ll pray for you. If you do a bad job, I’m going to pray against you.”

After the work was done, I saw someone walk in that I didn’t recognize. It was Hazel—no glasses, 50 pounds lighter from water aerobics, with a new hairstyle. Same voice, but a whole new energy.

The Marathon Man

Another patient told me later that he was running a marathon. That kind of life change starts with confidence—and that confidence often begins with a new smile.

The 30-Year Smiles

Sometimes I’ll see a patient during a routine cleaning and realize we did their smile makeover 30 years ago—and it still looks great. When we follow the protocol and tailor it to fit someone’s lifestyle, results can last for decades.

San Francisco to Atlanta

One of my patients lives in San Francisco and flies all the way to Atlanta for his appointments. He never misses. He plans his business trips around his visits here. That kind of trust means a lot.

Built to Last

I don’t offer warranties, but I tell patients this: if we stick to the recipe—and spice it up how you like—it’ll last. Regular care and a solid plan go a long way. You can see examples of lasting results in our Smile Gallery.

Why I Still Love This

Patients joke that I’ve got a “residency,” like a rock star at the Sphere in Vegas. But instead of me touring, they come to see me.

I’m here for those moments—when someone walks in one way and walks out different. That’s what keeps me doing this every day.
