What is recovery from gum contouring treatment like?

By utilizing a high-tech approach to the procedure, we will ensure that your recovery is as comfortable as possible. While you may experience some tenderness and discomfort once your anesthetic wears off, you can expect to be fully recovered in one to two weeks.

Here are a few ways you can speed up your recovery:

  • Stick to soft foods for the first few days after your procedure.
  • Avoid crunchy or spicy foods for the first few days of your recovery.
  • Take over-the-counter pain medication such as ibuprofen or tylenol.
  • Avoid strenuous activities for at least 24 hours after your procedure.
